RULES Current NRA PPC rules will
apply. This will be a NRA
registered
match.
ELIGIBILITY Open to any individual member of
the NRA, eligible under
rule 2.1 and
2.4 of the NRA rule book. Rule 2.4.1
will be in
effect. Teams will consist of either two or four
firing
members each representing a police club or law
enforcement agency eligible under rule 2.14. Also, any
member in good standing of the MPCPA, is eligible and
civilians may fire in two person teams.
ENTRIES Pre-registration is not
required. Competitors will be
squadded
upon arrival, on a first come first served
basis
with civilians and Law Enforcement firing on alternate relays. Law enforcement: current NRA classification
cards must
be presented along with proper ID.

CHALLENGES A $3.00 challenge fee will apply. Current NRA rules
CLASS NRA classification: High Master, Master, Expert,
Sharpshooter,
Marksman and Classified. Unclassified
will
compete in
the High Master class. Civilians
will be
classified using the Lewis System.
FIREARMS Current NRA and MPCPA rules will
apply.
AMMUNITION Either factory or hand loaded round
nose or wadcutter
ammunition,
.32 cal. or larger may be used. No high
speed or magnum will be allowed
LOADING Will be with cartridges taken
from the competitor’s belt,
pocket,
pouch or mechanical loaders on person.

must have enough ammo on person to
complete
each stage of fire or event. All loading
will be
with 6
cartridges, and time to reload is included in time to
shoot each
stage of fire.
TIMES Will start with loaded
gun in the holster. No part of
competitor’s hand may touch the gun or the holster until
the command to fire has been given.
OPTICS No optical devices other
than normal corrective eyewear.
HOLSTER Conventional right or left hand
draw. No shoulder, cross
draw or
others that require the insertion of a finger within
the trigger
guard will be allowed. Holsters cannot be
tied
down.

Match 1 Two stages of 12 shots fired double action from the standing without support position.
First stage fired at 7 yards
and second stage fired at 15
yards. Twenty seconds per stage.
Match 2 6 shots kneeling; 6 shots left hand standing with support; 6 shots right hand standing with support.
All shots are
fired double action from the 25 yard line.
Time limit is 90 seconds.
Match 3 6 shots sitting; 6 shots prone; 6 shots left hand standing with support; 6 shots right hand
standing with support. Shots may be fired single or double action. Time limit is 2 minutes
and 45 seconds with
all shots fired from the 50 yard line
Match 4 Two stages of 12 shots each fired double action, standing without support, at the 25 yard line.
Time limit is 35 seconds for each stage of 12 shots.

5 NRA National Police Course
Stage 1: 12 shots fired double action from the
7 yard line. Time limit is 20 seconds.
Stage 2: 6 shots kneeling; 6 shots left hand standing with support; 6 shots right hand
standing with support. All shots are fired double action from the 25 yard line.
Time limit is 90 seconds.
Stage 3: 6 shots sitting; 6 shots prone; 6 shots left hand standing with support;
6 shots right hand standing with support. Shots may be fired single or
double action. Time limit is 2 minutes and 45 seconds with all shots fired from
the 50 yard
line.
Stage 4 6 shots fired double action,
standing without support, from
the
25 yard line. Time limit of 12
seconds.
TEAM
MATCH Members will
fire the same course of fire as Match 5

The firearm
eligibility has changed to follow NRA rule 3.7 Stock Semi-Automatic Pistol
WEAPONS Revolver: The revolver must be capable of chambering
and
firing
standard 158 grain lead .38 service load.
It must be
a factory
manufactured revolver, with no external
modifications
other than grips because of the size of
competitors
hand or to facilitate reloading. No
internal
modifications
may be made that would render the
revolver
less than safe than originally designed by the
manufacturer. Specifically prohibited is any system of
recoil base
on compensators, barrel venting or porting.

Rear sight
may be fixed or adjustable. Front
adjustable
sights are
prohibited. Barrel length may not exceed
four
It will be
.38 cal, 158 grain lead service, round nose or
semi-wadcutter. All ammunition will be on the person
of the
shooter.
Stock Semi-Automatic Pistol: (NRA Rule 3.7) Mass
produced (at least 1,000 produced), factory manufactured (catalog item),
center-fire semi-automatic pistol designed for police or military use, .35
caliber or larger, barrel length not to exceed 5.5 inches. Fixed sights only. Manufacturer’s fixed sights may be replaced
with other service type fixed sights such as three (3) dot systems or
luminescent night sights. The only
modification or replacement part allowed is the magazine bumper pad. All double action semi-automatic pistols must
fire the first shot of every stage double action.
Specifically prohibited: external modifications except those listed
above. Specifically prohibited are full
length Bo-Mar type ribs on the slide, trigger shoes, extended slide release,
extended magazine well funnel and any system of recoil control based on
compensators, barrel venting or barrel porting, or weighted grips or grip
panels. No internal modifications may be
made that would render the pistol less safe then originally designed by the
manufacturer.
The pistol must be equipped with the standard issue or commercially
produced grips of the same size and design.
Finger groove and slip on grips are allowed. Stocks may be modified or changed because of
the size of a competitor’s hand. Thumb
rest or flared at the base grips will not be allowed nor is tape on the grips
or any substance, which results in a sticky surface to the grip or hands.
The above prohibitions are
to be broadly construed to the extent of permitting only genuine service
pistols and may be expanded to include other items not enumerated which are
incompatible with a service pistol.
HOLSTER Same as
for revolver and holster must completely cover trigger.
HOLSTERED Loaded
single action semi-autos with a round in the chamber
SEMI-AUTOS will be
holstered with safety on “SAFE”. Loaded
double
action
semi-autos with a round in the chamber will be holstered with the hammer
lowered to “DECOCKED” position.
AMMUNITION Licensed
manufactured, new issue, .35 cal or larger, service type, full metal jacket or
hollow point. Ammunition will be
furnished by the competitor. No
mid-range or semi-wadcutter will be used.
MAGAZINE For each
stage there will be only six rounds in a magazine.
ALL GUNS, AMMUNITION AND
EQUIPMENT WILL BE INSPECTED.
THE MATCH DIRECTORS DECISION ON EQUIPMENT PERMITTED IN ALL MATCHES IS FINAL.
