OAKLAND COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE

POLICE PISTOL MATCH

WHEN:

January 25, 26, 27, 28, 2007 (Thursday and Friday the range will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 pm).

WHERE:

The Oakland County Sheriffs Office Indoor Range, 1201 N. Telegraph Rd, Pontiac, MI 48341. (Come in the NORTH SIDE door, the range is in the basement. THE FRONT DOOR IS NOW CLOSED!!!!)

EQUIPMENT:

Revolver/Pistol and other NRA accessories. Eye and hearing protection are MANDITORY and must be supplied by the competitor. Ammunition may be hand or factory loaded, semi-wadcutter or wadcutter. NO HIGH SPEED OR MAGNUM AMMO. Ammunition shall be provided by the competitor.

COURSE OF FIRE:

NRA indoor P.P.C., 60 rounds, fired at 50 on a B-27R target. Stage 1 will be 12 rounds in 20 seconds. Scoring will be on the Lewis system and will be done by the range staff. Challenges $1.00. NO ALIBIS NRA rules will be guidelines, O.C.S.D. team has the final say on all disputes, ties and decisions. The range will be available for the posted times only! No sight-ins or pre-shooting

A SERVICE MATCH WILL BE ADDED. 60 Rds but you MUST use a 5 auto or 4 revolver. Cash only no aggregate. 50% of proceeds to be given back to shooters. SPECIAL MATCH FOR OUR 20TH!!!!!!

AWARDS CLASSES:

Individual Winners (5 Classes) Springfield Armory .40 caliber XDs
Individual 2nd place Winners (5 Classes) .22 cal Rifles. 3rd place knives
Individual Mid-Class Winners (5 Classes) Springfield Armory .40 caliber XDs

DOOR PRIZES:

You must be present for any door prizes. With the exception of the RAFFLE, you may only win one gun. Door prizes and/or awards will start at 6:00pm.

RAFFLE:

A Match Competitor Raffle (Springfield trophy Match)
Tickets will be $10.00 each (only 400 will be printed).

ATTENTION CANADIAN SHOOTERS: Gun award winners MUST have a U.S. FFL or a Michigan Permit to purchase in order to take possession of a pistol award or prize. If an award winner cannot meet this requirement, the O.C.S.D. Pistol Team may, at the teams discretion, offer cash in the amount paid by the team for the prize or award. Award winners must declare their preference at the time the award is presented, guns will revert to the property of the team if not picked up in 30 days.

BANQUET:

We will have the same delicious ROAST BEEF menu as the last match, as well as refreshments. Dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the UAW Hall, 670 E. Walton Blvd., Pontiac, MI 248-373-7774. (between Joslyn Rd. and Perry St.) Maps will be available at the range.

REGISTRATION:

Cost at the door will be $40.00 U.S. Fee includes individual match, door prizes, and dinner for one.
Extra dinner tickets are $8.00 each. Children 10 and under are free.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, OR GAMBLING ALLOWED AT THE RANGE. Due to lack of room
NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED IN THE RANGE.
Refreshments will be served in the registration/prep room. There will be a light lunch on Saturday.
COMPETITORS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO SHOOT IN THIS MATCH!
