38th Annual Match

 

Dates               Thursday, March 13, 2008   5:00pm to 9:00pm

    &                 Friday, March 14, 2008        5:00pm to 9:00pm

Time:              Saturday, March 15, 2008    9:00am to 5:00pm

                        Sunday, March 16, 2008       9:00am to 3:30pm (Registration cut off is 3:30pm)

 

Location:        Wyandotte Police Station

                        2015 Biddle Ave.       (corner of Northline & Biddle)

 

Eligibility:       Open to all participants’ 18 years or older familiar with the standard indoor PPC Course of Fire.  Please try to shoot early.

 

Fees:                           $40.00 for match.  Fees included Sunday Buffet dinner at hall and door prizes.

 

Course of      

Fire:                            Standard 60-rd. indoor PPC Course of Fire, fired at B-27 reduced target on a 50-foot range.  (No Teams)

 

Scoring:          Will be done by competitors.  A $1.00 fee for protest.  B – Target will be used to break ties. 

 

Equipment:    Revolvers/Semi autos & other equipment allowed by NRA Rules.  Eye and ear protection mandatory.  NO HIGH SPEED OR MAGNUM AMMO.  Semi-auto shooters must have at least 4 magazines.  No shoulder or cross draw holsters, questionable guns or equipment is the Range Officer’s final decision.

 

Awards          

(6 Classes):     1st Place – Glock Model 27 .40 Cal; 2nd Place - S&W 22A .22 Cal; 3rd Place - Handgun Safe           

4th  Place - TBD.     Awards by the Lewis System.

 

Door              

Prizes:                         Must be in attendance for all door prizes.  (Three (3) 22 Riffles included in the door prizes.)

 

ATTENTION CANADIAN SHOOOTERS:

Gun award winners MUST have a U.S. FFL or a Michigan Permit to Purchase in order to a take possession of a pistol award or prize.  If an award winner cannot meet this requirement, the Wyandotte Pistol Team may, at the team’s discretion, offer cash in lieu of prize.  Award winners must declare their preference at the time the award is presented, guns will revert to the property of the team if not picked up in 30 days.

 

Banquet:        Sunday, March 16th Buffet Dinner and beverages
