The MPCPA will be having a gun raffle with our match for a Springfield XD .45. Tickets will be $10.00 and the drawing will be after the completion of the match on Sunday. You do not need to be present to win. Appropriate paperwork and or permits will be mandatory for pickup of the gun.

 

WHEN:          Saturday and Sunday only! April 17 & 18, 2010      

TIMES:          Saturday 9 A.M. – 4 P.M. with registration ending at 3 P.M. sharp.

                        Sunday 9 A.M. – 4 P.M. with registrations ending at 3 P.M. Sharp.

 

COST:            $30.00 per shooter for the first score (State Championship) 

$20.00 for second 600, this will be a cash match with a 50% payout

 (If there is time on the range you may shoot extra scores if needed to get your 6 scores in for $10.00 each. There will be no payouts on these additional matches)

 

TEAMS:                                THEY ARE BACK “TEAM MATCHES”

$20.00 per 2-man Team, Teams can be made up of MPCPA members or non-members. Teams will receive 50% cash back for the 5 Lewis classes. Scores will be taken from the 1st fired 600. Teams must be declared before the 1st shot is fired by either Teammate.

COURSE:      Course of fire will be the indoor 50’ course using B-27R targets. Scoring will be                            done using the Lewis System. Challenges will cost $3.00 and the Match                                         Director’s decision will be final. The “B” target will break all ties.

 

EQUIPMENT: Standard Match Revolver/Pistol and other accessories. Eye & ear protection                               mandatory & must be supplied by the competitor. No high speed or magnum                               ammo. Semi-Auto shooters must have at least 4 magazines. No compensators or              optics allowed.          

 

AWARDS:     FIRST MATCH: Only MPCPA MEMBERS shooting the 1st match will be eligible for the plaque awards for the State Championship Match. These will be handed out at the Annual Banquet that will be held in January 2011. We have a great annual Banquet, join the MPCPA and show your support. Law Enforcement Shooters earn your place on the Governor’s Twenty. Honored Civilian Shooters earn your place and receive your Michigan Top Twenty Award.

 

                        NON-MPCPA members shooting the 1st match; we will give back 50% of the                                cash taken from the non-members as “cash” awards in 5 classes using the Lewis                                     System if there are enough shooters.

 

                         

 

                        SECOND MATCH: All shooters will be eligible for 50% of the money for this                            match as “cash” awards in 5 classes using the Lewis System. The amount of                                   cash back and how deep in each class will be determined by the number of                             shooters.

 

CASH AWARDS WILL BE MAILED

 

DOOR PRIZES: Long gun will be given away. (All shooters will be eligible for the gun and                               you do not need to be present). Other door prizes will be given out each day                             and you must be present to win these.

 

BANQUET:   THERE IS NO BANQUET AT THIS MATCH, IT WILL BE HELD IN JANUARY.
