ELIGIBILITY:
All shooter must comply with the Current NRA Police Pistol Combat Rules. All shooters must show proof of NRA membership and or MPCPA membership when picking up packets.
RULES:
All NRA rules will govern except for any changes listed.
CLASSES:
Individual competitors will be classified according to their NRA classification. Unclassified shooters will compete in the High Master class. Teams will be classified according to NRA rules. No categories will be used in competition or awards.
SQUADDING:
All individual and team matches will be squadded by the Stat Office.
TARGETS:
NRA B-27 targets will be used.
REFIRES:
NRA Rule 9.27 will apply.
CHALLENGES:
NRA Rule 16.1 will apply. All challenges of posted scores must be made within One (1) Hour of posting time.
INDIVIDUAL MATCH INFORMATION
FIRING OF
MATCHES: All matches will be fired “California Style” with matches
1-5 being fired without leaving the firing line. Scoring will be done off the line.
COURSES OF
FIRE: All courses of fire can be found in the NRA Police Pistol
Combat Rule Book. A copy of any course
of fire will be provided by the STAT OFFICE upon request from any
competitor. The course of fire will be
given on the line.
NATIONAL
RECORDS: National records are now being maintained by the NRA for all
matches fired by classified police competitors.
In order for a score to be
eligible for a national record, all NRA requirements for ammunition and
equipment must be met.
FIREARMS AND
EQUIPMENT: Decision of NRA
referee will be final as to eligibility of any firearm, holster, grips,
magazines, ammunition and/or equipment.
OPEN CLASS
MATCH: Eligible firearms and
ammunition required will be as per NRA Rules 3.2 (revolver) and 3.6
(semi-auto).
NRA DISTINGUISHED
MATCHES: Eligible firearms and
ammunition required will be as per NRA Rules 3.3 (revolver) and 3.7
(semi-auto). Equipment and ammunition
are subject to inspection by NRA referee. Triggers will be weighed. Course of fire is the 60 round national
police course.
MPCPA
DISTINGUISHED MATCHES: (4 INCH SERVICE REVOLVER or STOCK SEMI-AUTO PISTOL) Eligible
firearms and ammunition required will be as per NRA Rules 3.5 and or 3.8, Equipment and ammunition are subject to inspection by
NRA referee. Triggers will be weighed.
Course of fire is the 48 round Service Gun Course.
